Scented candles
Vegan soy wax candles in jars; beautifully boxed and with 50 hours of burn time. These are the candles I use in my treatment room when I’m with my clients, and they last for weeks and weeks, even with daily use.
Amber Noir
This is a spicy, musky, seasonally-scented candle in a black glass jar. It’s definitely the more masculine of the two aromas, but includes zingy, uplifting top notes of grapefruit and lemon plus much more over a base of black amber, cedarwood, sandalwood and patchouli. Deep and complex!
Clove, Freesia, Sweet Vanilla and Amber

Bath and massage oils
Sensitive Face and Body Oil
This is a fantastic all-rounder. It’s great for this time of year because of its warming notes of frankincense, and with evening primrose oil it’s also nourishing for the skin.
You can add drops to the bath, use as a massage oil, or treat the face (the oil has anti-aging, skin firming and relaxing properties). A treat in a bottle.

Calming Body Oil or Invigorating Body Oil
While these oils aren’t suitable for the face, they make ideal massage or bath oils to soothe body and mind. Quality carrier oils are blended with bright top notes of ylang-ylang and nourishing evening primrose, sweet orange, raspberry, chamomile and rosehip oils. Add a dash to the bath for a relaxing soak.

Segura Apothecary Room Diffuser With Black Reeds
This is a wonderful gift for the people in your life who are really missing the spa this year, or for those who just need a touch of luxury in their homes.
These woody, musky, authentically-spa scented room diffusers (with, you guessed it, a little hint of frankincense!) are fab because once you’re done, you can simply top up the black apothecary jar with the scented oil. Rather lovely.

A little bit about frankincense
Have you noticed that frankincense seems to be in most of the gifts on this list? That’s probably because of its benefits for the skin – not to mention its amazing smell!
Deeply relaxing and grounding, and known by aromatherapists as a harmonic, frankincense is an excellent base-note on which to build scent because it blends so well with nearly every other essential oil. It works in tandem with other great skincare oils such as sandalwood, geranium, lavender, orange and other citrusy oils – making it ideal for seasonally scented creations.
Frankincense has anti-ageing properties and is soothing for the skin – even for aggravating conditions such as eczema. It’s also a rejuvenating oil, reputedly used by the ancients – including Cleopatra in her bath milk!
It can help in the treatment of aches and pains and is used in eastern and western traditions to ease various conditions including those affecting the digestive, nervous and respiratory systems.
